Three key players have returned to Manchester City training ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash with Wolves. Another crucial fixture awaits Pep Guardiola’s side this weekend. It appears that the champions will have a full squad available for Saturday’s clash with Gary O’Neil’s side.

Following Sunday’s win over Nottingham Forest, there were injury and illness concerns over three players of the Manchester City squad. Ruben Dias and Phil Foden missed City’s win at the City Ground due to illness. Goalkeeper Ederson had to be substituted at half-time of the win with a shoulder injury. As the Manchester City squad returned to training yesterday, there was a boost for Pep Guardiola’s side, with all three players taking part in training yesterday.

In images shared on mancity.com City’s key trio are pictured all having returned to training. Given the importance of Phil Foden, Ruben Dias, and Ederson to the world champions, it is good news for Pep Guardiola ahead of another must win game for Manchester City.

With another must win game awaiting the world champions, it appears that they will head into Saturday’s clash with Wolves with a full squad available. Given that Ederson’s injury was thought to be serious, it is welcome news to see City’s number one keeper back in training. Phil Foden has arguably been Manchester City’s player of the season and will have a pivotal role to play for the remainder of the season. Ruben Dias is a crucial piece of City’s defence. His return will now give Pep Guardiola a full compliment of defenders to choose from for Saturday’s must win match.
